As we all know home prices have come down but I find that vacant land has come down even more. Here is an example; in 2005 a 38,000 square foot lot in the Pinecrest Elementary school district of Pinecrest Florida was sold for $1,170,000. Today a comparable lot in the same school district can be had for about $800,000 - that's about a 30% decrease in the price!
